1. Tap "Get Started"
2. Enter your email address
3. Create a secure password
   - At least 8 characters
   - Include uppercase and lowercase
   - Include numbers and symbols
4. Verify your email
5. Complete profile setup

Use a strong, unique password. Your account secures your earnings.

2. Enable VPN Permissions

The app requires VPN permissions to function:

iOS:

Tap "Connect" on the VPN screen
iOS will prompt "PRIV Would Like to Add VPN Configurations"
Tap "Allow"
Authenticate with Face ID / Touch ID / Passcode

Android:

Tap "Connect" on the VPN screen
Android will show "Connection request"
Tap "OK" to allow the VPN connection
Grant notification permission for connection status

3. Connect Wallet (Optional)

Connect a Web3 wallet to claim your earnings:

1. Go to Settings > Wallet
2. Tap "Connect Wallet"
3. Choose your wallet provider:
   - MetaMask
   - Coinbase Wallet
   - WalletConnect
4. Approve the connection in your wallet app
5. Wallet address is now linked

You can earn without connecting a wallet, but you will need one to claim your PRIV tokens.

VPN Permission Details

The VPN permission allows the app to:

Create a secure tunnel for your internet traffic
Route traffic through PRIV servers
Track data transfer for earnings calculation

The VPN does NOT:

Access your personal files
Read your messages or emails
Track your location

Troubleshooting

App Not Installing

iOS:

Ensure you have enough storage (50 MB minimum)
Check iOS version is 15.0 or later
Try restarting your device

Android:

Enable "Install from unknown sources" for beta APKs
Check Android version is 10 or later
Clear Play Store cache and retry

VPN Permission Denied

iOS:

Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
Remove any existing PRIV VPN profiles
Open the app and try connecting again

Android:

Go to Settings > Apps > PRIV
Tap Permissions
Ensure VPN permission is not denied
Restart the app

1. Verify your email address is correct
2. Check for typos in password
3. Try "Forgot Password" to reset
4. Check your email spam folder for verification
